If you ask me, I'm the most vital part of the squad. A good flank can change the squad's fortune from an otherwise dire scenario to catching an enemy team off guard. I may not have the best shot or the quickest building skills, but I understand positioning like no other. Loop around the hill to get a clean headshot on an unfriendly sniper? Done. Build up and drop clingers into an enemy port-a-fort? You're welcome. Oh, and don't worry about me, I know flanks are situational. My flanking frequency isn't excessive because I like to stay alive.
